Bought this jacket for walking the dog for 2 reasons, it looked warm and waterproof. It’s the best £30 i’ve ever spent!
Comfy warm and waterproof
Used this in -10 degree. It helped me with snowfall and kept me warm. No addition inner required.
I need this excellent jacket.. sizx- S
very nice jacket nice look
Jacket was good for Australian ski conditions. Did the job whilst I learnt how to shred
Good warm comfortable jacket
I bought this on Halliween of 2019 and it kept me warm and cozy during snow days in Qingdao,China. There are lots of ample zip up pockets. It was like a well distrubuted backpack. The best thing is the small pocket in the left sleeve. Hidden pockets are a winner for us world travelers. Another nice feature is the wrap around hood. Only my eyes and nose were exposed on windy days. This is not super heavy, but I'm not a skier. I wore the Freshwarm base layer and my various Solganac sweaters to flesh out this highly visible and affordable jacket.
Its very good in quality can be trusted for -5 degree C temp. Only Issue which I feel, front cross pocket are little bit short. That migh be one reason for the upgradation of this product.
Coluer bad & matierail not good
Thanks for writing to us,can you please help us understand more about the issues you are facing with the material?
I'm available at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Nice jacket. Kept me warm on my snow hike. In fact I had to take it off as it got to warm over a quechua fleece pullover. Windproof as well. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that the pockets are really small and it is not comfortable keeping hands inside the pockets. I wish the pockets were more spacious/deep. Overall a very very good jacket
To help keep you warm, we use recycled wadding insulation (60g/m² on the arms and 100g/m² on the body). This synthetic polyester-based wadding traps more or less air, depending on the size of its fibres, in order to insulate you from the cold.
By recycling [bottles made of plastic or partly recycled textiles] to produce our polyester, we reduce the use of fossil fuel resources while preserving the material's breathability in use.
Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce this environmental impact, we opted for a bulk dyeing process that involves adding the colour pigments when the yarn itself is being produced.
As well as its filling, your jacket's partially taped seams, collar and cuff tightening offer better protection against the cold and damp for a warmer feeling.
The coating is a waterproofing material spread over the inner surface of a fabric. It prevents water from seeping into the garment but allows the water vapour produced by the body's physical activity to escape. So you stay dry for greater comfort while practising your sport.
The resistance of a fabric to water pressure is expressed in terms of the height in mm of a water column that can be supported by the fabric (test based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. A fabric with a waterproof rating of 3,000 mm is therefore resistant to the pressure exerted by a 3,000 mm column of water.
The 180 jacket has been developed with a sophisticated component and assembly that prevent water from entering and reduce wind chill to help you cope with the weather conditions (rain, snow, wind, etc.).We validated the waterproofing of this product in the field in various weather conditions for several days.
The water repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This jacket features water-repellent components that extend its weather resistance. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating its outer surface. However, this property may deteriorate with use.
Bear in mind that the water repellent feature can be reactivated. To do this, put the jacket in the dryer on a synthetic programme for 10 to 15 minutes. You can also use a waterproofing spray (sold in our stores): spray the product evenly over the entire garment and allow to dry for 10 to 12 hours.
This garment wicks away the water vapour produced by your body when exercising. To find out if a fabric is breathable, we measure its total evaporative resistance RET (test based on the ISO 11092 standard). The lower the RET, the more breathable the fabric. The 180 jacket has an RET of 9. However, it is the technical solutions (zips, vents, mesh) that Wed’ze uses, which reduce the condensation inside the garment and maximise breathability.
Regular fit. The sides of the jacket hang down straight and remain parallel without conforming to the shape of your bust. The interior volume means this jacket can be worn in combination with a first and second technical layer.
To make sure you stay warm and dry, we recommend using the 3-technical-layer rule:- Layer 1 or a second skin, to stay dry.- Layer 2 or an insulating layer, to keep the heat in.- Layer 3 or a protective layer, to protect against bad weather.
The adjustable jacket hem and elastic sleeve cuffs keep out snow and draughts while skiing, and especially in case of a fall.
