after using it a few times, i think it's not very comfortable, the front straps are a bit short and also hurt my shoulders a bit. i also found the top compartment not well designed, as you need to unlock it to open the bag and it always falls down. The hiid part is that it has plenty of space and a lot of internal pockets.

This is a luggage for travel (hotels/flights) but definitely not a trekking rucksack mostly because a lack of waterproofing and materials durability (which is not even specified but I assume maximum 400D) look at Klattermusen backpacks/rucksacks those are 13% KEVLAR!

Hi, I am backpacker, Hichhiker, camper and trekker. I bought this backpack last year. I use to travel India by hickhike with this bag. Trust me, its worth to buy and use. It carry full of load, nearly 20 kg with best comfort. M loving it.

The product was not as good as thought. Started wearing within a month of purchase. The side are torn and the metal frame is visible.

Its hardly been two months since I bought this, the stitches of the bag is not holding and the cloth material is tearing off from the stitches. Also, the Slot through which the belt passes inside the bag to adjust the height of the bag has worn out and about to cut loose. I certainly doubt the quality of this bag, if this is the condition just within 2 months of usage, it surely wont last long before the belt gets ripped off the bag.

It's an excellent buy.. enough capacity, easy to carry. The load gets very well balanced out to carry with ease..

I had my sights set on this for over a year, when my old rucksack gave way, I decided to buy this for my road trip. I had planned to carry my camera, chef knives & camp gear which conveniently accommodated all of it. I am never going to buy another brand product!

This is a fantastic bit of kit! Looks and carries like a Backpack, but loads like a suitcase. The back system is really good and the perfect fit is easily achieved. Also unlike any other backpack I've known, there are zip mesh pockets on either side for those small items that get easily lost amongst what's been packed and shifted, after rummaging for something at the bottom of the bag. Although that isn't an issue either, because the whole back of the bag has a zip surround, meaning everything is easily accessible whether at the top, middle or bottom of the bag. The top of the bag is a bag in itself and separates easily from the main bag. This makes it ideal for trips to the shower block when staying on site. The outer pockets are of a generous size, and ideal for carrying 1l sports bottles. The belt pocket is a good size too with a decent zip allowing it to open fully. This comfortably houses a mobile power pack, and allows a charge lead to be connected to a mobile device whilst on the move. The lower compartment is accessible from both inside and outside of the bag, and at the bottom of the bag there's a pocket for the included cover. This though is no ordinary cover. It also can be used as a separate bag. Again, ideal when on site, and needing to maybe do a bit of laundry. It can also be used to carry the backpack itself over short distances, or when on public transport, so as to avoid the need to carry it awkwardly or struggle in a confined space to put it on. All in all this ticks all the boxes, and I highly recommend it.

Great design and quality of fabrics. A lot easier to access things with the ability to open like a suitcase. Comfortable to wear when full (of clothing). Included raincover is handy for keeping it all together when flying.

It not only has the best volume-to-weight ratio, but also smartly designed to fit in all the necessary travel supplies in the most efficient manner.

I recently used this product in Goechela trek. Though slightly bulky but it is awsome, comfortable.

I think I am one of the very first customers in India to buy this bag as soon as it arrived in Hyderabad Decathlon store. Well, There should have been a "Very Good" between your "Good" and "Excellent" rating. I am rating it as "Very Good" as it serves all purpose of a trekker, camper and traveler. The back open system like a suitcase has made it unique in design, and it's a delight thereby using the product. The top portion of the bag can be used as a side-satchel - that's another great feature. Though a locking mechanism doesn't help much in terms of security in this kind of backpack, I must say, it's a unique feature and definitely a plus. The only downsides I found are that the bag is quite heavy, even when it's empty and that the rain cover that comes with it is also very heavy and takes a good amount of space, even after folding up neatly. The rain cover, I feel, could have been little thinner, like a light plastic one. If you are a serious camper like me and are carrying your tent / sleeping bag etc along with the bag, it may be a bit heavier while ascending steeps. Else, a fantastic product.
