Thank you for your valuable review. Trekking transport bag is designed to carry your camping equipments to the base camp and not to be carried on our back for a longer period. This bag is very durable to carry equipment but might not be the best choice for a regular traveling bag.

Flexible bag for check in luggage
Wanted a foldable bag that could take up to 25kg of stuff so I could fly back to Singapore with only carry on out luggage and then fly out with cabin luggage. Does this well. Zippers and material looks like it will last. More sturdy and larger than one of those lightweight fold up duffle bags (but heavier).

My family and I went on a 2weeks trip. We bought this bag as a dumping bag for ALL of our clothes n stuffs n shopping (there are 5 of us). LOVE that it could be extended vastly n easy for us to just dump everything, zip up n go as we are always on the move (nomad-like). This is a no frill bag, ONLY 1 small exterior compartment. VERY large when entended, life-size in fact. When not extended and buckled up nicely, does not look that bulky.

Technical tests
We carry out laboratory tests to validate every component: fabric, buckles, straps, foam and zips. For example, for fabric: resistance to abrasion and tearing, colour-fastness in UV light, resistance to washing, waterproofing, etc. Then, a test that replicates several years of use of the backpack is conducted to check the strength of the assemblies: the backpack is filled with weights and placed on a mannequin that replicates thousands of fast walking movements
How is backpack volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardised method: we fill the main compartment as well as each pocket with little balls. Then we empty these balls into a graduated container, which gives the equivalent volume in litres.
