Chunky treat and good flexibility in the sole to use for athletics and general activities. Not a perfect running shoe, but excellent for an 11 year old boy who does many different activities Plus just kicking a ball around in the back garden, or going on walks in the woods when it’s dry. I’d love to see more shoes like this but with a water proof layer (even if the cost was a little more) to max them useful when it’s raining and my son won’t get his feet wet. He is a size 4 standard width at Clark’s and a size 4 fitted well on length and width.

Good shoes for the price
I bought these shoes for my son to do cross country as he needed more grip than normal trainers. Although they are not cross country shoes they do have chunky soles which offer more grip and are not too heavy and for the price are really good value, especially as children’s feet grow so fast

What's drop?
The drop of a shoe is the difference in sole height between the forefoot and the heel.The shorter the drop, the more natural the foot movement for running, reducing "biomechanical" action .which can cause injury. The drop of these AT Breath shoes has been reduced to 6 mm to respect your little one's natural stride!
Care instructions
The water repellent surface treatment means it is easier to clean and dries faster. As it prevents mud from becoming embedded in the fabric, it can cleaned with a gentle brush and a little soapy water and being left to dry naturally.
