Useful if you are begginer and for all in some difficult patches
Locks are not tight, they go back in the time you put much pressure on the stick. This happened on the very first trek we went after the purchase

The price is for 1 pole, but in the picture it looks like several. Ridiculously overpriced. False advertising
What a difference these poles make! Great quality and easy to adjust.
I've used them twice so far for long walks and they've done their job very well.
Bought these recently and they arrived on a day when I was just going out in the snow. Very sturdy support and easy to pack away/extend out. Very pleased.
handle and strap are pretty comfortable. used twice
The Walking Pole is easy to adjust to the right height and comfortable to use.
Thank you for the rating. Glad to know that you found the Walking pole comfortable to use :)
A well made very useful piece of kit.Good value.
Great recommendation from a member of staff. They are sturdy and feel strong.
These poles performed so well that I returned another brand poles that were way, WAY, more expensive. Unless you are fanatical about shaving every gram/oz from your kit, these poles are more than enough to get you where you want to go. I’m 6’2” and they had plenty of height.
I bought one just as a trial, mainly for testing ground if uncertain whether I’d sink or not, but ended up walking with it, felt weird walking with one so have since bought another to try using them for walking properly
Fast locking with the adjustment screw works very well. Adjustment is quick but the locking is strong. The shape and material of the handle, with the adjustable strip, provide good grip for whatever way.

Decathlon Hong Kong Hiking & Trekking Team
- 100% Aluminium
- 100% Polyoxymethylene
This model is entirely designed and approved by our team, at the foot of Mont Blanc. The starting point of our design is the external locking mechanism for precise and fast adjustment. Combined with a push-pin that unfolds and folds automatically. Then we designed a handle that allows multiple grips: along the tube for climbs and banking terrain, with the wrist-strap for efficient pushing and on the knob for descents. Then we use our best 7075-T6 aluminium for controlled weight
Hold the poles with your arms bent at a right angle. To adjust the length: open the outer lever, slide the tube to the desired length and close the lever. Pull the lower part until the automatic push-pin locks.Never go over the STOP line to avoid breaking the pole.
These hiking poles are designed to help you balance, propel yourself and spread the effort between the arms and legs.To increase safety, check your pole's locking mechanism by pressing down hard on it before you start and at regular intervals. If you notice that your pole tends to slide down, the locking mechanism turn ring needs adjusting. Open the lever and tighten the turn ring by a quarter or half turn.Do not attach to your backpack in stormy weather
Maintaining your poles properly enables you to maintain optimal function and increase their lifespan. After use, if water has got into the pole, take the parts apart and allow to dry. Clean any dust and mud with water or without, with a soft brush or paintbrush.Once dry, you can reassemble the parts. We recommend that you do not try to oil or grease them.
At Decathlon, we decided to sell our hiking/trekking poles individually. On the one hand, for usage reasons. Some people only want to use one pole. This therefore meets their needs. On the other hand, if one of your poles breaks, this means you only have to buy one and not a complete pair.
