It is a great product.
Its for my wife. She said its good.
It is good trekking glove but do not expect any protection from cold, operating a touch device like phone or tab works well.
The product is just perfect, thank you so much. Will surely recommend Decathlon to friends & Family
This is my second purchase of the gloves. My first pair was abused through multiple hikes and has protected my hands from thorns. Sadly, I had to buy a new one because no amount of sewing can save my first pair since I put them through hell, lol. With that said, these gloves can withstand a good amount of abuse, provide a decent amount of warmth and the price is kind to my wallet. Plus, their XS size fits my hands perfectly. And I like the buckle feature so the gloves are kept together. Please do not discontinue this product.
Dear Angela, thank you for rating us. Our team of mountain trekking enthusiasts developed these gloves to provide warmth in cold weather. Ideal for spring and autumn! Touch sensitive and breathable, these gloves have reinforced palms and fingers for increased resistance when using poles or preparing a bivouac.
Satisfy our customer is our top priority. Your loyalty to decathlon is highly appreciated. Please let us know if there anything else we can improve in the future. Thank you once again and we hope serve you again.
nice warms and comfort for milder days with good grip and strong pull loops. my only negative is it's a little snug for my finger width, probably wouldn't be good for 'sausage fingers'
excellent gloves.. no sweating when driving.. very durable..
Good grip on bike,
All our gloves are laboratory tested on a thermal hand. The minimum temperatures for use (recommended and limit) are the result of a study carried out with a test panel of 23 walkers exposed to temperatures ranging from 5°C to -20°C and 10 km/h winds. These temperatures are only valid in walking conditions. The Trek 500 gloves are given a warmth rating of 1 out of 5.Recommended temperature: 9°CLimit temperature: 4°C
In the same way you wear several layers of clothing when trekking, you can wear liner gloves under your gloves, that will act as a thermal base layer. This multi-layer system lets several layers of air to form around your hands, efficiently insulating them from the cold!Remember to wear large enough gloves to avoid your fingers being constricted. Compression reduces blood circulation in the fingers.
When active, the body generates heat which is preserved thanks to the thermal insulation of your clothing. If the clothing is inadequate, your body cools and the blood flow to the hands and feet drops in order to keep your upper body warm. Your clothing can therefore play a role in keeping your hands warm.
The dexterity of a glove is its ability to handle objects. Our Trek 500 gloves have been scored in a laboratory. The closer the glove's dexterity is to 5, the more the glove can handle objects in the same way as the bare hand. For example, we have tested the ability to put on and open a jacket, to handle objects in bivouac, to eat and drink wearing the Trek 500 gloves. The Trek 500 gloves are given a warmth rating of 4 out of 5.
Pull the wrist strap with the opposite hand to put them on quickly and efficiently.
The Trek 500 Stretch gloves are not windproof.Did you know that the wind makes you feel colder? With an outdoor temperature of 0°C and a 20 km/h wind, the perceived temperature will be -10°C The windproof components reduce the wind chill resulting from the cooling effect of the wind or apparent wind generated by the sporting activity. We therefore recommend buying our Trek 500 waterproof and windproof over-gloves to complement these gloves
If this happens then dry them in a dry place but avoid placing them on a heat source. This could damage the fibre and they could lose their shape!
