Clipping the legs on was really, really difficult. I couldn’t do it despite watching video many many times. Enlisted help 20 yr old son and together we failed to get legs into position. Returned for refund of money no questions asked.
Thank you for your time to write a review and provide your experience. Sorry to hear It was a struggle with the legs, it can be quite physically demanding for this particular model.
I have passed on your feedback to our Quechua Brand.

We bought this for an imminent camping trip, like with many things we brought it home to test it out. It's not the lightest of frames so if you're without a car and have to walk some distance then this purchase may not be for you. We started to assemble with the elasticated poles for my son to trap the webbing of his thumb/finger in the pole. Great start. Once with some real effort of putting the the poles into the bed base, we had to put the legs on. As a grown adult man, this was some effort. My wife couldn't do it and there was no way my son was. We're not convinced so we'll keep it for now but pretty sure we'll shop around and take it back.
Don't just think this is a camping bed. Instead, it is a whole total strength workout itself. Even the instruction states that you need the mandatory muscles to get the job done! You have to BEND the metal legs to fit to the frame/poles. Although I have taken part in Ironman triathlons and ultramarathons, setting up this bed is one of the most physically demanding task ever! Please get this bed for your functional strength training needs!

Item is not user friendly & too much energy need to install. Not suitable for ladies . Worst product to come off Decathlon .
Value for money and quality
Almost broke my thumb during assembly. The two main structural tubes were really hard to insert at the same time pull the provided textile tab to secure in its place.
Sturdy, comfortable, needs small space for packing. A bit difficult to assemble. Bed can get dirty during assembly when camping ground is wet or raining
My wife and I bough these cots for car camping, when carrying weight and bulk is not an issue, but we were surprised of how heavy they are. They are also incredibly difficult to assemble. Inserting the side rods into the last pocket is very, very dificult, and so is pushing the legs in the second rod to lock, both putting it together and when disassembling it. The amount of force that you have to apply is ridiculous! I'm a 34 year old guy and I have trouble putting it together and taking them apart! My wife cannot use this by herself at all. It is incredibly frustrating to her. More frustating even is that I just learned that I cannot return them, as we have used them once, even if it is such a poorly deisgned product. As europeans living in the US we were very happy to have Decathlon here as well, but with these draconian return policies I may have to take my business elsewhere.
I was apprehensive about putting this up after what reviews had been saying about it being ridiculously difficult - it's not! I put two of these up in about 10 mins (I timed myself) with two kids jumping around me whilst doing it. You obviously do have to put a bit of tension on the frame when pushing the legs on, but that's why it's so taught when lying on it - and it was no where near as bad as what I thought it would be. It's a really sturdy camp bed, the legs are a lot thicker than other camp beds of the same style. I also think that it's very comfortable - we're planning on putting a mat on top of them, but I don't think you really need it. It comes in a nice little bag that's not too bulky, and it's not too heavy - I don't think it would be good for hiking with, but for us it suits perfectly. I think that it's very good value for money, as are most things from Decathlon (in my opinion).
Our beds arrived today and we were excited to try them out. I had read reviews that said they were hard to put together but the video shows a lady putting them together with ease so I thought we would try them and follow the instructions to a T. Putting the poles in is relatively easy but does need some force to get the final part in. The legs, however, are horrendously hard to get in. The first part is easy where you just twist it on but getting the other side to attach to the pole is so hard. It was impossible for me to do and I felt like my elbow would break before I could get the legs attached. My husband was able to do it but he had to really press down hard to get the legs to bend enough to attach. I do hope that with use they will get easier as he has 4 beds to construct every time we go camping! I am disappointed that I can not construct one by myself but do like the product when constructed. I am pleased with how comfortable they and could see myself using them as a sun lounger as well as a camp bed. I am looking forward to our self inflating air mats arrive to try them out on the bed as I think they should be a perfect combination together. I am going to keep the beds as finding ones that are 60cm wide is proving very difficult but if I find ones that are easy to construct and just as sturdy then I will be returning them.
Inexpensive. Solid. Sturdy carry bag. Enough room under for some storage. Required some effort to assemble one side of one cot but after fabric stretched a little, no further problems.
This camp bed is compatible with all camping mattresses that do not exceed 60 cm in width.
