Generally speaking, elastic bands are for resistance training and non elastic bands are for stretching. Imagine you need to pull your leg up with a band to stretch your hamstrings, an elastic band would not work because the band would keep on stretching and your leg will be at the same place. If you are not satisfied with this product and want to have an elastic band, please bring this product back to any of our store to exchange it. Have a nice day!
