Good price and very comfy
One of my first Decathlon purchases and I’m very pleased with them. Wanted some warm, dry socks without much bulk to wear under Blundstones for a short 7km hike. Despite the fact that my blundstones were brand new and stiff these felt cushiony but not thick: my feet were warm (not hot) and dry, and they were a great barrier between the parts of the boots that were trying to rub. I love that the sole is cushioned with terry but the instep is very thin material, as I’ve a high instep and that made a noticeable difference, and again was just enough to prevent a sore rub. Very pleased with these!

Excellent socks for the hiking amd trekking
Been using these since few years and very satisfied with its petformace and the material. Anti blister works best. Only suggestion is if you can come with the odorless in the same if you can, as it starts smelling if thr pair is used on multiple days treks where you cannot wash the product.

Limits the risk of irritation
The component in the heel and toe is made of a polyamide thread twisted with a second PTFE-coated polyamide thread that reduces the risk of blisters. These socks cannot provide full protection from blisters. Blisters usually appear when our skin is weakened by friction caused by our socks, shoes or foreign bodies. Damp also plays an important role as it weakens the skin.
Characteristics of the threads
The heel and toe of the sock are made of a friction-free polyamide to reduce friction. The rest of the sock is made of a very fast-drying polyamide to reduce the sensation of wet feet. Specific padded areas, added thickness for added comfort. Highly ventilated woven areas increase perspiration wicking.
How to choose the height of your socks
We have produced 3 heights of hiking socks. "Short" socks that reach over your shoes but remain under the ankle. The “mids" are slightly higher than your ankle to protect it. These 2 heights are designed to be worn with low shoes. "High" socks are ideal with hiking boots as they are slightly lower than the calf.
Choose the right size of hiking socks
Our socks are available in 4 different shoe sizes (3/5.5, 6/8,8.5/11.5, 12, 14). We use elastane in all our socks, so that they fit closely to your feet and remain in place. We all have feet of different lengths, proportions and sizes: to do this, it is important to try your hiking socks in the store before buying them. Also try out your socks before going on a long hike
