A couple a weeks ago I purchased the green 2-seater Itiwit kayak at Decathlon Pattaya, but at home the separate orange pump was not working due to a wrong construction detail. The staff could not help me and replace it, because their pump in the shop had the same issue, as well the valve in the manometer did work the wrong way. So I bought a small 12 v electrical compressor pump for cars in another shop and inflated the kajak quickly. After the entire family did take a test sit-in and proofed it as good, later the first test run at the beach was successful and fun, even with a kid in it. With my heavy weight the boat is not made for two adults weighting more than a gross 150 Kg together, probably. From the two paddles I've bought, the slightly heavier orange alloy one was easier to use than the black-red carbon paddle whitch is lighter, longer and due to the special shape of the blade, better for advanced paddlers. Why is there bad weather now since some days and the waves higher than 1 meter? But the boat can take it, it's a lot of fun and the kid in their new safety vest liked it a lot as well. Maybe the orange 3-seater Itiwit kayak will be the next byu in Decathlon.
I purchased this kayak in March. The second time I used it I realized it had a leak. I figured ou the probleam was on the seam. It wasn't sealed all the way. I was able to patch because I needed it for upcoming trips. It was fine for 2 more trips. And has started to leak again. Just reached out to Decathlon so hopefully this is resolved. When working love this kayak.

Fantastic boat! Easy to clean, easy to paddle. Previously had a k2 intex explorer and this is miles better. No wet bum! Any water that gets in goes underneath the inflatable base which is easily removable from the main body to dry out. Easy to pump up and deflate to fit back in the bag. Tracks well in the water, fairly streamlined for an inflatable with its' 3 skegs. Lots of leg space for 2 people. Seats could do with more back support for longer paddles but are ok, the boat overall is quite comfy to sit in and feels well supported and balanced. We like to paddle up stream and then float down river on the way back
Great product, good quality and very stable. Great value for money. I would highly recommend this product.
Bought a while back, but only used it for the first time recently, or at least tried to use it...after I inflated it to the correct PSI I could hear air coming out. The main bladder had a small whole in the seam which despite multiple efforts to fix has only worsened. Very, very disappointed with the quality of this product.
I'm sorry to hear you've experienced some issues with your inflatable kayak? If you can confirm which bladder the leak is in, I will arrange for a replacement bladder to be delivered to your address!
Used it twice so far and really impressed. Strong, stable and comfortable. Easy to paddle and not much effort to inflate/deflate and pack away. Only used so far on lake and river but feel use on sea in mild conditions would be possible. Seems well made and well thought out. Skegs are useful but can be used without if water is shallow.
I find it a bit awkward to paddle, because it's higher and wider than a regular kayak. I'm also just a bit worried it'll pop and I'll go down like the Titanic.
i have had great joy with this kayak. 3 years of rivers, canals and sea kayaking. great for a fun paddle, or even a steady 5 mile paddle to the pub! i clean it with dish soap once a year, using a hard brush and hose. it still looks newer than my friends who have bought the cheaper rubber options. one bit of advice, buy a rubber mallet from your hardware store as the fins do sometimes get jammed with sand . It is difficult to push with your hand... but the rubber mallet pops them right out!
Easy to inflate and also to pack away. Stable in the water
We take them out on the Thames most weekends.
I owned a rigid plastic kayak which worked well on the water but was a major hassle to store and transport. I sold it and bought an inflatable (not this one) of average quality which just felt too flimsy and uncomfortable. When I purchased this Kayak I hoped it would be closer to the rigid experience than the cheap inflatable and I was not disappointed. Quick to inflate and the material is strong and durable giving confidence that damage / punctures aren't likely! I think it's a fantastic compromise from a rigid kayak, offering great quality at an affordable price. I'm delighted with my purchase - so much so I'm considering getting another one so we can go out as a family of four! Separate note - it can 'comfortably' accommodate me (6ft male), my wife or daughter (both around 5ft4) and a 5 year old 'wedged' in the middle. Not practical for long journeys but fine for messing about on the water.
I got this for Christmas but only used twice due to covid restrictions and really excited to use it. I was disappointed as the seam on the underside inflatable bottom had split and looks beyond repair.
I have used this kayak several times already and i am loving it. Fantastic quality and so stable on the water. I’d highly recommended this to anyone
Inflate the floor, then one of the tubes, then the second one to 50%. Check the overall positioning of the chambers. Then fully inflate it without exceeding 0.1 bar (1.5 psi).DO NOT OVERINFLATE!Ensure the valves are securely closed.Install the 3 skegs, unless using on a river containing little water. In the event of EXTREME HEAT, slightly deflate out of the water to avoid overinflation, which could damage the kayak.Do not leave inflated in direct sunlight: risk of overinflation.
In the event of damage to one of the side chambers, open the side tube lengthways using the zip and remove the chamber. The floor can be uncovered by opening the Velcro fastenings.Example 1: the hole is in the side tube; you can use the repair kit to stick on a patch.Example 2: the hole is located along a seam; visit the workshop of a DECATHLON store to repair or exchange the bladder.
New carry bag, backpack style for short distances.Easy clip fins.Deflate the kayak by opening the 3 "Boston" valves.Fold the lateral tubes down onto the floor.Roll, starting from the opposite side to the valves to remove the air.Place the rolled-up kayak into the main compartment of the bag.Close the zip and tighten using the compression strap.
The seats are high, providing increased comfort for adults in the paddling position. The seats are to be placed according to the number of persons on board, just behind of the markings printed on the floor. On the "2" markings (which therefore remain visible) when there are 2 persons on board. On the "1" marking when there is only one person on board.Ensure that you balance your load to optimise kayak performance.
Patented bow shape: the front and back ends provide good glide. The V-shaped front of the kayak enables smooth entry into the water.

We recommend that you use the product with a buoyancy vest.
None of our inflatable kayaks come with the air pump and paddles. The air pump and paddles need to be bought separately. When buying pumps, please ensure that the pump valve is compatible with your kayak.
