Not the best as inner Bladder has got a defect.. Told to bring back and exchange to be told its been used and they can't.. Don't buy to pump up and leave in living room. And as you can see I've got a lot of paddleboard as well.. Not what I expected as a valued customer
I'd been looking for some time at inflatable kayaks and eventually settled on the Itiwit 3. Now this kayak is fantastic and really solid, it's larger thsn expected and the weight capacity allows me and the fiance and our two cherubs to all be in it together. This kayak is robust and is virtually unstoppable. It's wide and solid and the seats inflate to be solid. I was really suprised with the quality of the kayak. It does feel heavy in the back pack and when its wet it makes carrying even harder. The kayak does take a while to dry out aswell. Apart from these obvious minor things I rate it as a 5/5. A great family kayak which is stable on the sea with a small swell. Fantastic all rounder.
When we first got the kayak we were really impressed. It seemed like the usual Decathlon great quality. We got it for a kayaking holiday, so tested it at home first, all looked good, however on our first day of holiday we pumped it up a second time only to hear a nasty hiss. We had a look and the base had split at the weld. We tried using the fixing patches but they were useless. We were several hours from a Decathlon store but managed to get some seam glue to repair it and try to salvage our holiday. So after a couple of days of messing about with it we pumped it up again. This time all looked good, the seam held. We were just about to pick it up when an almighty bang sent the boat flying up in the air as the middle seams in the floor burst rendering it completely useless. We hadn’t even got it to pressure (at least according to the decathlon pressure measure on the the pump we also got, this is also next to useless, with the needle bouncing all over the place). All we are left with are some disappointed children and a big lump of plastic to lug all the way home. So the boat seems nice but the bladder in the base is absolute junk, same for the pressure gauge. Not what we’ve come to expect from Decathlon. We should have looked more closely at the reviews, the kayak itself gets good reviews but the replacement bladders for the base show that this is a common problem.
So far am really pleased with the kayak, only downside is that to dry it properly you need to remove the floor section and re inflate the kayak. This is not really a issue as long as you have plenty of space.
Great bit of kit to introduce my family to kayaking. Easy to inflate and packs down easily after use. Used in Canals, Lochs and the Sea without any problems but I would advice to clean and dry thoroughly after use. The kayak is very stable, tracks well and is fairly manoeuvrable given it’s length and width. It’s also pretty robust thanks to its ‘secondary’ skin. All in all it’s a bargain compared to similar inflatables.
This is awesome, Best Buy in years
Sản phẩm chất lượng khá tốt, dễ chơi dễ dùng. Cả gia đình 4 người ngồi lên vẫn cân bằng tốt
This is a great product, really well made. Been used out on the sea down in Portsmouth a few times. Easy to set up and deflate and pack away. Feels really good quality.
Really impressed with this robust kayak. Simple and quick to inflate , just don’t overinflate I’ve heard from other owners. Low profile so moves through the water really well. Haven’t used Decathlon before but will again after buying this kayak.
Great kayak, well made, very sturdy, handles reli well, plenty of leg space for 2 adults and a child, very pleased with it
it hard to take off the fin on the bottom once a little sans go into the gap, fairly it is worth to have
I was sceptical about trying an inflatable version’as I own and use rigid kayaks. But this boat is Brilliant! Rugged, robust and so practically simple to use! Very stable and tracks well in the water, deploys in 5 mins and back in bag in the same time! What’s not to love! Totally converted now! will look to replace my other kayaks with another itiwit !
We purchased this so we could go out with my daughter while she was open water swimming. My girls then use this after. It has been ideal for us,as family.
The front and back seats are high, this provides increased comfort for adults in the paddling position. The seats are arranged according to the number of persons on board, on the diagrams printed on the floor:In front of the "2+1" diagrams (which remain visible) when there are 3 persons on board. In front of the "2" markings when there are 2 persons on board.
Inflate the floor first, then one of the side tubes, then the second one to 50%. Check the overall chamber positioning. Then inflate to 100% without exceeding 0.1 bar (1.5 psi).DO NOT OVERINFLATE!Fully close all of the valves.Install the 3 keels, unless using on a river containing little water. In the event of EXTREME HEAT, slightly deflate the kayak out of the water to avoid overinflation, which could damage the kayak.Do not leave inflated in direct sunlight: risk of overinflation.
In the event of damage to one of the side chambers, open the side tube lengthways using the zip and remove the chamber. The floor can be uncovered by opening the Velcro fastenings.Example 1: the hole is in the side tube; you can use the repair kit to stick on a patch.Example 2: the hole is located along a seam; contact the DECATHLON workshop service to exchange the faulty bladder (2-year warranty).
Patented bow shape: the front and back ends provide good glide. The V-shaped front of the kayak enables smooth entry into the water.
New carry bag, backpack style for short distances.Easy clip fins.Deflate the kayak by opening the 3 "Boston" valves.Fold the lateral tubes down onto the floor.Roll, starting from the opposite side to the valves to remove the air.Place the rolled-up kayak into the main compartment of the bag.Close the zip and tighten using the compression strap.
