Product information
Composition
Main fabric
- 100% Polyester
Coating
- 100% Polyurethane
Component waterproofing
This garment has been validated in a shower test under 60 L of water / sqm / hour for 2 hours. This test reproduces the average conditions of a rain shower in the mountains.A component with a 2000 mm waterproof rating is therefore resistant to the pressure exerted by a 2000 mm column of water (which roughly corresponds to a 2-hour downpour). The waterproof rating is expressed in schmerbers (for example: 2,000 schmerbers).
Component breathability
To find out whether a fabric is breathable, we test its evaporative resistance or RET (based on the ISO 11092 standard). The lower the fabric's resistance, the more water vapour generated by physical activity is able to escape, and the higher the fabric's breathability. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric / 9 < RET < 12 = very breathable fabric / 12 < RET < 20 = breathable fabric / RET > 20 = little or no breathability.
Practical details
Can be stored in the pocket. Central zip opening, hood, elasticated wrists and waistband
Durability of the components
Abrasion and friction resistance test: for example, we carry out laboratory tests to check that the fleeces do not pill. Colour fastness test: we check colour fastness to ensure that colours do not bleed when coming into contact with saliva. Ageing test: repeated washing must not alter the fabric's original properties, including its shape, thickness or appearance.
Care
1/ Machine wash (30 to 40°C): close rip-tap fastenings, gentle detergent .Wash jackets and trousers inside out. Loosen straps and elastics. 2/ Avoid folding garment excessively in machine: this can damage it. 3/ Do not mix different types of clothes or colours. 4/ Do not use bleach. 5/ Rinse thoroughly followed by a gentle spin cycle. 6/ Dry either on a washing line or in the drier (minimum temperature, minimum duration).
