One of my all-time favourites - a very well fitting and soft middle layer top, wear it all winter under various hiking jackets, for bike riding and skiing. Seldom touch fleece or woollens since getting it.
Decent little jacket if you don’t mind being covered in feathers everytime you take it off Maybe this ones just faulty . I thought when initially wore it yeh ok few feathers only your T-shirt underneath . But no everytime you take it off Very annoying as surely it must be using warmth everytime
Absolute best down puffer packable jacket available for the money. Love this jacket and it will be my go to backpacking jacket from now on.
I normally wear a size Large. While the coat fit me in other areas It was too small and tight in the chest/abdomen. I have asked for it to exchange for a XL. Otherwise the coat is well made and impressive.
I am totally disappointed; why am purchase it only the name of Decathlon because Decathlon is world quality products so i bought that product but i used first time that jacket; some feather came outside of that jacket. I think 2nd or 3rd time if i use that all feather come outside! I loosed my trust in Decathlon!
Thank you for taking the time to give your valuable review. We are sorry that you were not satisfied with the product. Duck down feathers has the ability to come out of the smallest pores. Hence, It is natural for some feathers to come out of a stitched-down jacket, However, it does not mean that the quality of the jacket is ruined. If you feel the feathers are coming out a lot please feel free to visit your nearest Decathlon store to exchange or return the product.

I practically lived in this jacket albiet in a different colour during lockdown in 2020. Loved it so much I decided to get another colour. I have a similar jacket from a more expensive brnad that cost x4 times more. The fit, look and warmth of this jacket makes it an easy choice.
Took the jacket on a multi-day backpacking trip in the Uinta mountains in Utah. Temps were high 30s at night. As long as I was moving around I was super warm. If I was stationary for too long the jacket seemed to not do as well. Having some wool layers underneath certainly helped. Also, I'm a decently big guy - usually wear an XL - XXL shirt sizes. Bought the 3XL and the fit was perfect. Overall, terrific jacket for the price and heat to weight ratio. Glad I bought it.
First down jacket I've bought and didn't want to splash +£90 on one, this for £50 is great value and really does the job. Great layer for when the sun goes down or reaching a windy summit, slept in mine wild camping when it was cold at night. The hood is really good too as not many come with one! Packs away pretty small and lightweight, can't fault it!
Thank you very much for taking time to review our product Jimbob.
very happy with the quality.. yet to test under the -5C conditions..hopefully it copes well
My size is usually large or extra large on small fit but I got the 2XL and fitted nicely. The jacket is warm and very light. Can’t fault it.
Excellent value for money. Ideal for cool weather.
Dear khun John

My second DC jacket! Loved it. Amazing!
I'm 5"11" 160 lbs......Large fits me fine with room for layering....I also own a Mountain Hardware Puffy that cost $225... 3 years ago, on sale...I cant see much difference between the two?
Light weight fine quality and simply superb ❣️❣️❣️
Bought to keep me warm whilst wild camping. Warm with hood and folds down into left pocket.
This padded jacket, worn as a 3rd layer, has been certified for an active comfort temperature of -5°C during a standardised test in a thermal chamber. The model is wearing a synthetic long-sleeved T-shirt and a light fleece underneath. It works with a simulated 5 km/h wind.We have also tested this model in "static" mode; the comfort temperature is +5°C in this case.
The filling power of down has 3 advantages for mountain sports:- Thermal insulation thanks to the air trapped in the down and feathers- Ultra low weight: down is lighter than synthetic wadding while offering the same degree of warmth. This saves even more weight in your backpack- Ultra-compressible
The fill power is a measure of the down's thermal insulation capacity and its potential to "trap" air. It is expressed in CUIN (cubic inches). So, down with a higher fill power (higher CUIN number) will occupy more space, trap more air and provide greater thermal insulation. For this down jacket with its 85% down/15% feathers filling, the fill power is guaranteed to be 800 CUIN or more (European standard).
RDS or “Responsible Down Standard” is a worldwide certification issued by an independent organisation to volunteer brands. This standard enables us to guarantee the origin of the feathers in accordance with our commitment to use responsible materials. Our suppliers commit to using only feathers from geese and ducks raised for their meat and slaughtered before down and feathers are collected. To find out more: https://www.forclaz.co.uk/what-is-rds-certification

A tear on a padded jacket can happen when trekking! The good news is that it can be repaired so the tear doesn’t get any bigger or to stop the feathers from escaping.Don't you feel at ease carrying out this repair yourself? Don't worry! Our in-store Decathlon workshops offer a repair service to mend your padded jacket using a heat-bonded patch.
The water repellent property of a fabric is its ability to make water run off its surface without absorbing it.This prevents the fabric from swelling, and keeps it lightweight and warm. The material of this down jacket is water-repellent; we recommend wearing a waterproof jacket over it in the event of prolonged exposure to rain. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating its outer surface, however this property may deteriorate with use.We recommend that you restore it after each wash.
After washing your padded jacket, we recommend that you use a water-repellent reactivator spray to preserve the hydrophobic properties of the outer fabrichttps://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/fabric-waterproofing-liquid-250-ml/_/R-p-308192It restores the water-repellent properties of the fabric and optimises the performance of your garment throughout its lifetime.
