The quality for socks

It is so comfortable in my weekly trekking. I do not feel any heat from my feet of wearing it in such tropical climate. It has to support my feet well that i focus on pursuing my trekking target.

Poor quality compared to the last 900

Purchased these to replace my previous 900 socks that have lasted over two years. Worn once and already showing signs of wear and bobbling, not the same quality as the previous double lined versions, in fact no better than the 500 series not worth paying extra, very disappointed and not recommended which is a shame as the previous socks were excellent.

Limits the risk of irritation

The component in the heel and toe is made of a polyamide thread twisted with a second PTFE-coated polyamide thread that reduces the risk of blisters. These socks cannot provide full protection from blisters. Blisters usually appear when our skin is weakened by chafing because of socks, shoes or foreign bodies. Damp also plays an important role as it weakens the skin.

Characteristics of the threads

The main polyester thread is made from multi-filament elastic thread that enables good temperature management. The secondary thread is a mix of Merino Wool and Thermocool Polyester. Merino wool enables good absorption of damp, is soft and delays the emergence of blisters. Thermocool polyester is thermoregulating thanks to its hollow fibres. The sock is fully woven with Elastane to provide good support.

How to choose the height of your socks

We have produced 3 heights of hiking socks. "Short" socks that reach over your shoes but remain under the ankle. The “mids" are slightly higher than your ankle to protect it. These 2 heights are designed to be worn with low shoes. "High" socks are ideal with hiking boots as they are slightly lower than the calf.

Choose the right size of hiking socks

Our socks are available in 4 different shoe sizes (3/5.5, 6/8,8.5/11.5, 12, 14). We use elastane in all our socks, so that they fit closely to your feet and remain in place. We all have feet of different lengths, proportions and sizes: to do this, it is important to try your hiking socks in the store before buying them. Also try out your socks before going on a long hike
