Spotted in Mountain Store, Passy, and an impulse buy as fills a gap in my walking wardrobe. Already worn this week on an easy mid-level walk on a windy day. Looks ideal for winter in the Lake District fells once I’m back in the UK, with a shell in my pack for heavy rain. I’m tall, and it’s a good length.
Very happy with this purchase. Really great quality.

Quite a close-fitting cut. Inner volume lets you wear a second lightweight layer underneath, such as a microfleece top.
The wind makes you feel considerably colder.Where the outside temperature is 0°, with winds of 20 km, the temperature feels like -10°."Windproof" components fight the uncomfortable effects associated with this "freezing effect". Forming a barrier against the wind, they effectively reduce heat loss.
- Drawstring tightening with toggles at the bottom of the jacket- Tightening at the cuffs with Velcro tabs- Adjustable hood
A fabric is water repellent when it allows water slide over its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from swelling, and keeps it lightweight and warm. Please note this protects you from light and short rain showers but not from severe bad weather. The padded jacket is not waterproof. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating its outer surface, however this property may deteriorate with use.We recommend that you restore it after each wash.
The water-repellent treatment becomes less effective with time, washing and use. Here is how to restore the water-repellent properties of your padded jacket!https://www.quechua.co.uk/advice/how-do-you-restore-water-repellent-properties-your-jacket-a_86426You can also use the care product: Treatment restoring water-repellent propertieshttps://www.decathlon.co.uk/txdirect-wash-in-300ml-id_8401685.html
