Product Reviews

This coat is REALLY waterproof, well made and a lovely feminine cut. Very pleased with it. I also love the vibrant colour (red), so many ladies clothes are purple or pink and insipid. Lots of pockets, adjustable hood, arms are a good length. Armpit zips are a nice touch. Fantastic!!
I love the cut of this jacket, the sleeves are long enough for me (long arms), the hood's the perfect size and doesn't blow off in the wind. Lots of pockets and space. Unfortunately it's not waterproof, particularly the black fabric on the arms (I have the grey/black colourway). It's fine in a light drizzle, but any more than that the rain soaks right through. I endured a very miserable music festival recently where I was soaking wet for the whole day, whereas others in their cheap £15 ponchos were kept dry. I expected a lot more for a jacket that was £89. I shall be returning the jacket and hope it can be refunded or exchanged
Extremely disappointed that a £90 jacket is not waterproof. Worn at a rainy music festival this weekend and Insted of the rain beading and running off the fabric it soaked in, especially through the black panels (I have the grey and black colourway). I had soaking wet arms which wasn't fun and meant I went home early as was so wet. Disappointing that friends in cheap waterproof jackets were kept dry. Plus points are the jacket fits well with good pockets and hood a perfect fit . I'll be returning the jacket and hoping for a refund/exchange as not for for purpose
Perfect running jacket, kept me warm and dry on a very cold rainy winter run. lots of pockets and breathable material.
Sleek. Stylish. Well-cut. Durable. Zips are all functional and do not get caught in the lining which is a personal deal-breaker when it comes to buying jackets. I use it when I'm in rainy England and/or mountain hiking for my Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Award.
Bought this for my D of E in Brecon and by how pleased I was to have it with me. I already had a waterproof coat/jacket but decided to invest in this jacket because it looked really durable. After 4 1/2 days Of walking in the rain and buggy conditions texting streams and extreme conditions I came out the other end dry and comfortable. The jacket was not only lightweight and comfortable it’s provided superb coverage keeping me warm and dry. This jacket is slightly longer So it gave extra protection and the hood has a peak Peak which allowed the rain to run off and protected my face. When hiking it can be Hard work and with the layers underneath it was useful to have zipped events under the arms to allow some of the heat out. I would consider this to be a must for anyone planning on outdoor activities all those taking the Duke of Edinburgh award.

Quick-adjusting, 3d hood
One adjustment, just one movement to adjust the hood! 3-point adjustment system (height, depth and volume) thanks to 1 single elastic drawcord + tightening.Deep, enveloping hood for excellent comfort.Visor for maximum face protection.
Construction of the jacket / 3 layers
This jacket is constructed with 3 layers, providing the best protection on the market: the membrane is glued between the inner layer and the outer layer of the component (hence the name of 3-layer component). The membrane is a kind of very thin Polyurethane film that makes the component waterproof while remaining breathable. It is protected by a knit, and has the advantage of being softer, lighter, more durable and often more breathable than a coating.
Water-resistance test
We measure the water resistance of the fabric & the water resistance of the entire jacket. The water-resistance of this fabric is 15,000 mm Schmerber: this means that it withstands the pressure exerted by 15,000 mm of water column (ISO standard test). This jacket has also been validated by a shower test reproducing conditions of a storm / 30 cm of rain in 3 hours. For the most curious, all the details are here:https://www.quechua.fr/conseils/comment-mesurer-limpermeabilite-dune-veste-a_104488
How to restore the jacket's water-repellence?
The water repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This prevents your jacket from soaking up water, and keeps it lightweight and breathable. The fabric is made water repellent by treating its outer surface, however this property may deteriorate with use.All the steps for restoring water repellent properties are described below:https://conseilsport.decathlon.fr/conseils/comment-reactiver-la-deperlance-de-sa-veste-tp_22965
Breathability test
The breathability of a material is its capacity to wick away the water vapour generated by perspiration. During intense effort, it is, therefore, essential to wear very breathable clothing so you do not stay wet.Breathability is measured by the RET, the resistance of a fabric to the evacuation of moisture. The lower this coefficient, the more breathable the fabric is:RET ≤ 6: very breathable fabricRET ≤ 12: breathable fabricRET ≤ 20: fabric with low breathability
